Developing up Easter became sort of a large deal in our house, my brother and i might wake up at the crack of sunrise to hunt for our sweet and goody crammed baskets the Easter bunny concealed for us, then we’d get all dressed up in our suits and attire (clothes for the ladies, suits for the boys, of course) and head to church. After the carrier turned into over, we’d have an Easter egg hunt within the grassy region at the back of church, after which head returned home for every other hunt in our backyard.
We’d finish the morning off with own family and buddies and a flowery brunch, wherein we’d have the entirety from brown sugar glazed ham to tacky scalloped potatoes and my Grandma’s well-known Easter bunny cake.
