Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies #Christmas #Cookies


Those Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies are my concept of the best cookie: crispy on the outside, chewy on the interior, plus chocolate chips at some stage in, and a chocolate drizzle on pinnacle!

With regards to snacking…are you crew Salty? Or are you group sweet? Or maybe you’re team each – like me?! Don’t fear – in my view, there may be no incorrect form of snack!!


INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 11-ounce bag Nature Valley Oats N’ Chocolate Protein Granola
  • 1¾ sticks butter (14 tablespoons), softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chip morsels
  • 1 4-ounce bar good-quality milk chocolate such as Ghirardelli

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a large bowl, sift both flours, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Pour whole bag of granola into bowl and toss with a large spoon to coat.
  2. in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat butter for 2 mins. add both sugars and beat for one minute.
  3. upload egg and vanilla and beat to combine.
  4. With mixer on low, slowly upload dry to wet till batter is thick like a cookie dough. Pour inside the chocolate chips and blend a few turns to contain the chips.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 ranges F.
  6. Line three cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Use a small scoop to measure out 1 ¼ – 1 ½ ounce portions, 12 consistent with pan. Do no longer press down.
  8. Bake one pan at a time in top 0.33 of oven for 13 minutes consistent with pan. The cookies will look like they're no longer absolutely baked but will installation as they cool. Do not over bake.

  11. In a microwave, melt chocolate. Pour into a small disposable pastry bag and not using a tip and cut a totally small cease off.
  12. using a back and forth movement, drizzle the chocolate over all the cookies. One four-ounce bar is just enough to cowl all 36 cookies.
